this is a powerful tune for me. I was sitting at the beach with my new tenor guitar and dinking about with chord progressions. I got a call that a woman I'd not met, but played at a benefit for, had lost her battle with cancer at 27 years old. I was devastated for her family and friends and wrote this song through the salt of the Puget Sound and my tears. I got to share it with them later on.
