Let Me Sleep In Your Arms Tonight was written by Oregon based singer-songwriter Rachel Lyn Harrington, who gave her blessing on my covering her wonderful song.

A little backstory: "Let me sleep...." came my way via Rachel's son, Mandolin Lennon Hooper, (Mando) a fine musician in his own right, who asked me, along with some other of her musical pals, to interpret and record an original song of hers on the sly, for her birthday surprise in 2021. I found this beauty tucked in among her catalogue of Americana treasures. Rachel was moved by his beautiful gift and my simple rendition of guitar and voice.

In September 2022, Mandolin died tragically at 30 years old.

This song forever connects the three of us in a most profound way and I'm honored to share it forth.
