This song was a prophetic one. i wrote it one day at the Oregon coast when I was vacationing with a gal pal. We brought our arts and crafts on vacay and she had stuff for making mosaic art. As I listened to the crack-crack of pottery, i thought about things morphing from one thing to another. perhaps and hopefully better than before. or more true.

Leap forward to the day the CD came out - my house was broken into and my beautiful guitar that I'd written all the songs on was stolen (amongst other things.) I was gutted - this song sort of speaks to that putting oneself back together even if the pieces don't quite match what you thought you would be. in a way, I relate to it more today than even back then. the power of words and time.
