i wrote this sitting on the hood of my car when I was at the airport waiting for my brother's flight to come in. He was flying home for our mama's memorial and ash-spreading in the bellingham bay. I don't know how I got to sit there at the pick up spot so long, since they shoo you away these days. but it was needed. and my first attempt at a "fast" song! I had written like 3 others and they were all slow. Little did I know i would grow to embrace all the expressions of my musical muse.
