so much to say.... it's the only of my original songs my mom ever heard. Her response to it was, "it's very simple and very powerful". she was my only audience til I got myself out there.
I was in much angst in all directions - she was on her deathbed, and I was mooning over someone who would not ever be mine. I learned, starting with this song, that you could make a story end how you wanted it to....or maybe I was just in such pain I couldn't say the truth. Anyway, the dainty voice is my little heart pouring forth and only now I can really love her.
