speck 03:23
you're just a speck no one can see flung on the wind with the birds and the trees glistening leaf you rest upon falling flora brings you down you land in a field atop a daisy a girl comes along plucking loves or loves me not petals fall one by one at least you landed on somebody loves me twirling down in the breeze still you wonder what might've been had you been on the last petal to cling you hit a dandelion gone to seed fluff-puffy landing like the room full of pillows on "i dream of jeannie" blown into the blue on the breath of a boy floating up on the warmth looking down upon a smile you dance with the wind the one who loves you flying up to the sky your best friend in the world together by and by

hello 04:00
Seems the circle may be broken Or turning a new direction Finding home in the grace of the road Ringing 'round a rosy posy time Calling out hello Hello, you drift your way over to say Hello Friendly chatter til the cows came home Really they were dogs Maddie and Tulie and Blossom Running round the beach And I miss my own Am I a magnet to a friendly voice When I need it the most I'll take it Hello, I call out hello The only way I know how Sweet childlike man You laugh like a chirping bird Were you scared in the storm Or did you sing yourself to calm I drew a heart in the dust of your demise A little love I leave behind Seems all I got Hello, you call out hello The only way you know how And I smile tho you don't see me We stand together alone Hello Hello I'll keep saying til I go Hello Hello Hello

love stanley 04:00
Well we came...cross the land ....A sight to well my eyes Oh the beauty....all directions Caught my breath to take it in Crosses dot the highway Snow collapsing trees Fire burning yonder Flowerpoking through winters end... Then we saw it....through the turnstile A spell to fall between Oh the power...of the river Rushing voice to lull my sleep Wind over the mountain Gusting down the way Breathe between the boards of the ol barn a-sway Chandelier a-tinkle, nest in rafters symphony Mountain bluebirds fly Crissing-cross the fenceposts Osprey dust the lines Elk scatter in the wee light Coyotes are calling Sweaters on the cattails The otters are hiding Oh the sun warms...through the windows Rising flow to grace Mountains ever...o majestic Promenade til sky turns gray In the barn the bluebird, singing in the wings Echoing my own, melody it seems Wind flutters our feathers, roosting by and by

feast of days There you go Life changed so quickly Where'd you go quiver of grass on winter shore cast to the wind Salt spray returns the sea I want to keep....part of you.... Ear to a windswept hill I heard "I love you" (or was it a dream?) It's hard to feel the world Without you Fox running by, slows to see takes unshakable poise At the ragged end of the day count the hours An eternity in words of regret bird leaves the rail And my heart ....flies.... remember the days Of sweet cream and tea We laughed til we cried and cry til there's nothing but to laugh again A feast of days A feast of love....

this life 04:52
You talk about the weather Long after the storm has passed As if I wasn't there Or you can't remember my face I'm waiting for you to say something outside the blue of the ones you think are setting the bar Do you know you're still alone? Do you know I still hear you? Hey I get it... I been living in my own waiting room But I put myself out there braving the truth Sparked a flame in my tender heart Wind blowin' hair across my face Gentle hand brushing it from my baby blues And you know it's the sweetest thing Sweetest thing I ever knew Talking over candles through the night nourishing the soul dance in moonlight Take it in the kitchen, washing up the pans Cuz we can't imagine this story would ever end Reminds me of a tune I once heard Was it an old man’s whistle or a trilling bird Well we're here now let's make the most Gotta take the time to breathe Into this life

I stare at the page and wonder why I can't see the words You tried so hard to spell it out Well i wanna say but you don’t seem to hear it's just my way to read your face instead oh we're walking around out in the cold hands deep in pockets and dry as a bone The skin on my fingers and I can't feel you anymore well your touch was hard but warm and it drove me home more than once You took me home home bridge: Oh when I'm with you It’s okay But when I’m down the road i can't see my own reflection am i here Were you there INSTRUMENTAL the night sky lightens and stars disappear... But in this city they hardly show anyway and I long to be where I can see the sky so I know the difference between... day and night take me back home take me back home home where I knew myself and knew you more than now More than then More than you

Mercy Street - by Peter Gabriel Looking down on empty streets, all she can see Are the dreams made solid, are the dreams made real All of the buildings, all of the cars Were once just a dream in somebody's head She pictures the broken glass, she pictures the steam She pictures a soul with no leak at the seam ..lets take.. the boat out Wait until darkness Let's take the boat out Wait until darkness comes Nowhere in the corridors of pale green and grey Nowhere in the suburbs in the cold light of day There in the midst of it so alive and alone Words support like bone CHORUS Dreaming of mercy street Wear your inside out Dreaming of mercy In your daddy's arms again Dreaming of mercy street Swear they moved that sign Dreaming of mercy In your daddy's arms Pulling out the papers from the drawers that slide smooth Tugging at the darkness, word upon word Confessing all the secret things in the warm velvet box To the priest-he's the doctor, he can handle the shocks Dreaming of the tenderness, tremble in the hips Of kissing Mary's lips CHORUS Anne, with her father is out in the boat Riding the water Riding the waves on the sea

mettle 04:10
Photos of you Fade in time Through the door And gone Temperament of love Heady with possibility A treasure trove A bounty Color the coast Azure no words Out to seize The sea Swelling waves Don't turn your back This is the tide We're on Fire storm Prove our mettle On the wing Come the dawn
